Meet one of the Faces of LongHorn Steakhouse, Lyn McCracken, general manager of Olive Garden in Buford, GA.
Lyn McCracken started in the kitchen of a small Italian restaurant 39 years ago, and since then she has served hundreds of thousands of guests, connected with thousands of team members and helped develop more than 100 managers.
She has been in Atlanta for 22 years and can hardly walk into any type of business without someone recognizing her, either a guest or someone who has worked for her, which she finds rewarding.
“I can’t think of anything that’s more rewarding than being able to bring somebody from the level of a team member into the management team.”
Furthermore, she’s appreciative of the company behind her that continuously supports the training and development aspect of team members’ progression to the next level.
